The hero is shot to death first and the Dark Lord escapes while leaving both teams to their doom.

The city of Kawagoe is purged by a newly elected mayor of it because of one voter refusing to vote. The young man responsible survives the two phases of the purge in a underground shelter as he dooms his mother and the rest of the city. Mayor Devil nukes Kawagoe off the face of the Earth after cleansing the city of humans for his race. Witnessing the results of sleeping in on and not voting on voting day, the young man vows to wait four years to vote responsibly to save the fate of Kawagoe.

The fate of Kawagoe is sealed as Devil wins the election with no other canaidate running against him. Angel, who is the other canaidate from the last election gave up politics after Devil's first victory. The young man refuses to accept the city's fate because of his lack of knowledge. He sends a thought to his past self to go vote four years back in the past.

You are in the shoes of Sam, a young man who made a fatal choice of not voting in the city election. After wasting four years of his life living in his mother's underground shelter he fails to make a vote. He sends a thought to his past self to go vote to prevent Kawagoe from becoming a Devil-infested city.

Go back four years before the fate of Kawagoe is forever cursed by the Devil's luck. Sam's thought is passed to his past self in hopes he can reverse the damage his present can't. Can Sam's vote really change Kawagoe for the better or will his lack of interest be a bane for his present-future past self?
